ePARTS Bundle AllCAW — everything in this category

€298.61 per year - expires automatically

The bundle for design and production organisations: Part-21 in full, the Part-21L route for light aircraft and the additional airworthiness specifications of Part-26 for one year. Cheaper than the individual ePARTS in this category combined.

THE PROBLEM

Is that change minor, or does it need a new approval?

Part-21 decides how you classify a change or repair, what your design organisation may approve itself, and on which certification basis a product is released. Regulation (EU) No 748/2012 has been amended repeatedly, and in 2023 an entirely new route was added with Part-21L for light aircraft.

A wrong classification is expensive in both directions: an unnecessary approval application costs months, and a missed one surfaces during an audit or, worse, at the moment of release.

Part-21 or Part-21L?

The light-aircraft route has its own subparts and its own conditions, and the two run in parallel.

Major or minor.

The classification rules sit across the Rule, the AMC and the GM — and your procedures have to cite all three.

Design and production handbooks.

Your DOA handbook and POE quote paragraphs that have since been renumbered or reworded.

The solution

How ePARTS helps you with initial airworthiness

One search covers Part-21, Part-21L and Part-26 including their AMC and GM, and every requirements carries the date from which it applies.

Part-21 and Part-21L in one place

Part-21L is a separate, lighter route that only exists for eligible light aircraft. ePARTS holds both, so you can see which route applies to your product and exactly what it requires.

Applicability at a glance

Red frames for requirements in force, green frames for those applying from a later date.

Amendments traceable

Questions we are asked

Initial Airworthiness — frequently asked

What is ePARTS?

An online database of current international aviation regulation. The EU regulations with their AMC and GM, consolidated to the latest amendment and searchable from any device — maintained by Jargon Aviation Consultancy since 2000.

How does the free trial work?

Apply coupon 7DAYTRIAL at checkout and you have full access to the categories you select for seven days. The trial expires by itself; nothing renews and no payment is taken.

Is ePARTS the same as the EASA Easy Access Rules?

No. The Easy Access Rules are periodic PDF compilations. ePARTS is a searchable database updated within days of each amendment, with the applicability date shown on the requirement itself.

What is Part-21L and does it apply to us?

Part-21L is the alternative route introduced for the design and production of light aircraft, with its own subparts and conditions. It runs in parallel with Part-21, so both are in this package and can be compared side by side.

Do we need Part-26 as well?

Part-26 holds additional airworthiness specifications for operations, which apply to large aeroplanes and their operators. It is included in the AllIAW bundle and also available separately as ePART-26.
